Forget Mike Tyson vs.
Lennox Lewis. Wouldn't you rather see Muhammad Ali go up against Arnold Schwarzenegger?
Ali and Schwarzenegger will square off later this month, but it won't be in the ring.
Instead, they're going to use the auction podium in an attempt to raise money for charity.
The two icons will be here on Oct. 23 as honorary co-chairmen of the Piguet celebrity
watch auction at Christie's. They'll put 35 watches on the block, each of which will have
been worn and engraved by celebrities like Cher, George Clooney, Natalie Cole, Billy
Crystal, Whoopi Goldberg, Goldie Hawn, Evander Holyfield, Anthony Hopkins, Ashley Judd,
Lisa Kudrow, Susan Lucci, Susan Sarandon, Emma Thompson, Robin Williams and Shaquille
O'Neal.
Proceeds will go to benefit Schwarzenegger's Inner City Games Foundation and Ali's
Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville. |
