A Paramount executive on a Paramount website said that Arnold will get a huge back cut (no 20 million up front) and do the long delayed With Wings As Eagles film in April 1999. He said it should be Paramounts tent pole film that summer.

It looks like Arnold isn't interested in doing this project anymore!

The Hollywood Reporter had a story that "Arnold and Sylvester Stallone -- the world's two leading action stars -- are searching for a project in which they can star together.

Yesterday Arnold received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the World Sports Awards. A few hours ago I've just watched this amazing show live and though maybe you'd love to see some pics and Arnold on the Collateral Damage set!

16223536.jpg (30820 bytes)

The ceremony took place in Royal Albert Hall in London (top left). Arnold's close Austrian friend Hermann Maier (aka Herminator, picture top right), was named Winter Sports Men winner (and hiz english improft a bit sinz I last heard him). Anyway, Roger Moore was the leading men presenting the awards, but when there time for the biggest award of them all, princ Albert (bottom left), was the one who introduced Arnold and his sport history. What followed was an unforgettable 2 minutes collage from many Arnold's movies, Inner City clips, bodybuilding victories...). And then there was Arnold talking from the set of Collateral Damage. He was extremely proud, he talked about WSA history and he apologized for not being in London. After Arnold, Muhammed Ali was there to pick his Lifetime Achievement award also (bottom right).

You miss the photos from Collateral Damage set! Here they are...ENJOY!

Today, Arnold was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the World Sports Awards in London -- one of the largest international shows of it's kind, honoring athletes from around the world for their outstanding achievements and contributions. A hero to most of us, Arnold had the additional honor of being presented the award by one of his own heroes, champion boxer Muhammed Ali!

Although Arnold was unable to attend the event in person, he accepted the award "live" via satellite from the set of his current film, the action-thriller COLLATERAL DAMAGE.
