Schwarzenegger has added Dr. Arnold Fox to his $50 million libel against the Globe, over an article called "Arnie's Heart Crisis." The story claimed Schwarzenegger was suffering from heart disease, which the actor strongly denies. As reported in LOS ANGELES (CNN) - Schwarzenegger said the doctor never examined him and had no access to his medical records. The actor did have a heart valve replaced in 1997, but his spokesperson Catherine Olim said the operation was, "a complete success and he has made a full recovery," and he does not have heart disease.

Also named Arnold, the doctor was approved for inclusion in the suit by US District Judge Mariana R Pfaelzer. The lawsuit was prompted by an Aug. 4 cover story in the Globe whose headline read 'Arnie's Heart Crisis'. The Globe has said its story was accurate.

Ultra ripped bodybuilder Andreas Munzer died because of a kidney, liver and heart failure. The German newspaper Bild did a big headline story on the sad demise of Andreas Munzer (31). They wrote, "His fanatical wish was to be better than his idol, Arnold Schwarzenegger."

Arnold's last farewell to Andreas

Andreas was born in Graz, Austria, the birthplace of Arnold. He kept a photo of Arnie pinned on his bedroom wall and his bodybuilding mentor was Arnold's Bavarian friend-mentor Albert Busek.

Arnold officially signed a deal with William Morris (also to get together with his longtime friend Robert Stein). Arnold will be represented by a team of agents headed by Robert Stein and Michael Gruber, both senior vice presidents at William Morris. Los Angeles Times added that Schwarzenegger hoped the change will help him go beyond his tough-guy image.

Arnold, through his attorneys, demanded that the National Enquirer publish a retraction, correction and apology to him concerning its false and defamatory article in it's March 14, 2000 issue entitled "Two Faced Arnie's True Lies Exposed" (herein "Article"). Mr. Schwarzenegger has notified the National Enquirer that the article and headline is false and defamatory of Mr. Schwarzenegger by calling him a liar and being two-faced when Arnold Schwarzenegger made his statement in February about Jorg Haider that, "Someone who makes statements like Haider's has no place in government. I have never supported him in the past and do not now." In support of the Article, the National Enquirer published a photograph that was taken of Mr. Schwarzenegger with Mr. Haider several years ago.

Suits at Warner Bros. have officially removed all life support from the Ridley Scott-directed action epic I Am Legend despite feverish attempts to re-write the script for a budget under $100 million, according to sources familiar with the film as well as an article in HR that day.

Neal Jimenez had been called upon at that time to trim some fat off of the massive post-apocalyptic plague flick, but Scott was unsuccessful at convincing Warner Bros. that the new script would stay south of the magic $100 million mark. Warner's skepticism that any director, armed even with the new screenplay, would be able to contain costs and still deliver a compelling representation of a future was likely the primary reason for killing the film.

The news release from Warner brought a sad end to what many genre fans had hoped would be a thrilling summer 1999 event movie. The Hollywood Reporter story indicated that both Scott and projected star Arnold Schwarzenegger were then left looking for new projects. Arnold was said to be looking at both End of Days, and the Oliver Stone-produced S.W.A.T., which was rumored to be suffering its own share of re-write problems. Scott, meanwhile, was reportedly looking to helm Mercs, a film about a mercenary who travels to Africa and ends up falling in love with a Red Cross volunteer.
