My name is Klemen Zun and I live in Slovenia, which is a small country just below
Arnold's native Austria. I've been in Austria several times and it is the most
beautiful country I've ever seen (I also speak German a little). I'm 23 years
old, studying economics and I've been Arnold's fan for over 10 years. But first and
foremost I consider myself a huge film buff.
Yup, that's me! I'm the muscle behind Oakland!
I know that my English is far from perfect, but I hope it's adequate for this part of the
internet. My goal is NOT TO have the same page as any other Arnold fan site! Therefor,
I've started with PIC OF THE DAY section (which features a rare picture of Arnold every
day), then ON THIS DAY section (past Oak news that happened on this day), NEWS, INFOs,
QUOTES and new VOTING every week... I hope I'll be able to make many sections in the
future, but it all depends on time.
It's quite a huge "Arnold size" page already. Just see the archives
from previous days too! You'll find tons of info and many never before seen photos
(currently over 500) that are Oakland exclusive!
I hope that one day I'll meet Arnold. I'm also wondering what Arnold would said about my
page! I know for sure he would laugh and say that this kid is spending his whole time and
life on this thing. But as I see it, this page not only helps my English, but I can also
meet other fans and give them free pictures, infos, answers, news and suggestions (so they
won't have to spend a fortune the way I did - just kidding). Anyway I've scanned lots of Arnie related pics and made an Arnold chronology database
on my computer... To make long story short I decided to make this web site for fans with
tons of pics and infos, so that they don't have to spend the time and money the way I did.
On the other hand, I get the satisfaction that at least I did something useful with my
Arnold collection.

After months of enjoyable hard work, Arnold's Official site www.schwarzenegger.com has recognized my page as
FAN SITE OF THE MONTH! Isn't that something every Arnold fan can dream about. For me, this
is a complete dream come true.
Thank you Arnold, for recognizing my work. And special thanks to many other fans that
helped me build OAK-land!
